Loretta will be speaking at the 2015 National Settlement Services Summit (NS3) onJune 8-10 in Atlanta. The 2015 Summit will offer three days of educational sessions focused on regulatory compliance and innovative business solutions. With the rapidly changing regulatory environment, the Summit delivers guidance on what steps should be integrated and implemented today in order to maintain continued success. Business sessions will provide attendees with solutions to help grow their business through innovative new ideas. The Summit will also feature best-in-class networking opportunities. On June 9, Loretta will present CFPB Web: Understanding Your Regulatory Touchpoints, a 60-minute session that will explore how everyday activities and situations could lead to compliance risk and a potential touchpoint with the Bureau or other agency. It will discuss the risks associated with potential whistleblower claims from competitors or current/former employees, as well as consumer complaints submitted to title agents and/or State or Federal agencies. You’ll also learn why agents must be particularly wary of doing business with any partner that is not firmly committed to compliance.
